Tomb Raider is Action-adventure third-person game, it was released in March 2013 and was developed by Crystal Dynamics and was published by Square Enix. The game was released on Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, although later it became available on a different number of platforms.

Tomb Raider although had multiple parts before this game but the developers decided to reboot the series and hence Tomb Raider became the first game of the rebooted series.
- The game is based on exploration and survival, the players can take control of the central character of the Tomb Raider series, Lara Croft and are required to make their way by surviving through the tombs on an island.
- The game allows the players to use stealth and survival mechanics in order to hunt down the enemies, cross the obstacles and make their way through the game. There are climbable tracks and surfaces, ziplines, etc. using which character can progress ahead in stages.
- The main combat weapon in the game which has been a signature weapon to Lara Croft is Bow and Arrow which allow her to make silent and stealth kills by aiming onto the enemies.
- The game allows the players to explore the tombs, kill enemies and find collectibles, and also solve puzzles. The player skills can also be upgraded by progressing and collecting salvage on the island.
- The ammunition carrying capacity can also be upgraded, the arrows can be customized and upgraded to flaming and exploding arrows depending on their usage.
Tomb Raider has fine realistic graphics which are very good according to the game of 2013, the game has fine mechanics which keep the players interested into the game, the remastered edition of the game was also released on January 2014 for PlayStation 2014 and Xbox One which had more developed graphics.
